The Harris Wedding

I met Halie and Josh a couple of years ago when they worked with my husband. I had done their family photos once or twice in previous years.

Well, Halie reached out very nonchalantly in early 2019 asking what my wedding packages were. I sent her the information and went about my day. Halfway through the day it dawned on me to ask "did you get engaged??" to a prompt "Yeah, it happened this morning." Y'all already knew I was dancing around my kitchen. I love it when our friends find their forever person. It makes my heart happy.

So after getting all the deets of "how he asked", we got to set up a meeting to plan their engagement shoot. They had a Harry Potter themed portion, and the rest would have their dogs and just them in Downtown Fuquay. It was amazing.

Flash forward to September 2020. It was FINALLY their special day. We arrived at Cedar Grove Acres in Creedmoor, NC to a gorgeous group of bridesmaids getting ready. They hung out, had fancy drinks, got their hair and makeup done, and spoiled their bride.

One request that Halie had was that she wanted to do a first look with her future brother-in-laws. So we go the gents prepped and their first look shed a couple of tears.

Then it was time for the ceremony. All of their closest friends and family were here to celebrate their love and support them in taking this next step in their lives. Queue the waterworks as Halie walks down the aisle with her mamma and the look on Josh's face when he first sees her.

Now it's time to get the party started! They had delicious food and drinks, a fantastic playlist, and great friends to make memories with.

As it got closer to sunset, it was time to sneak away with Halie and Josh to get some of those golden light portraits. They ended their night by the fire, followed by a bubble exit.

It was perfect.
